The Dawning of the Age of Aquarius

Much as I love to start a new rant with reference to a tune, even I have several fingers through the aesophagus today due to the latest bleat from our ovine politicians.  Clegg, who would not win a contest for hitting a barn-door with his wife, his children and his supporters, of whom the latter would be insufficient to out-number his family, has wilted on about gay marriage.  And presumably, he thinks the age of free love and idiotic attitudes still exists.  Someone voted for this cretin.  Name yourself and be shamed; 'fess up even if you are just a LibDem.

If you want to be all 'lovey-dovey' naff-off to Tahiti, Godber.  I maybe 704 and out-of-touch with popular televisual entertainment but one should always make 'Porridge' a go-to-event after a hard day denigrating others. We live in Great Britain not San Francisco or Lesbos. I am sure that noble City and lovely island can provide him with any number of churches that will celebrate whatever is flavour of the month. Coq au vin this week, obviously.

If the British electorate thinks that Farrago and Dave are a joke what on Earth does it make of Clegg?  In another boost to the BBC's 1970s TV I heartily recommend you to Last of the Summer Whine, which served only to keep that magnificent voice of Peter Sallis in entertainment until he captured Gromit.  His character was named Clegg - a Northern type of epithet- and one wonders where the latest scion of that noble family thinks he will end?  Even if aged Clegg was scouring the hilly countryside between Derbyshire and Yorkshire it would be an insult to the decency of its denizens

In a country where people are crying out for work, for fair wages, for justice within health, education and the benefits system, this joker thinks that it is right to make a stand on a couple of nonces being married in a church.

If only more of you voted this would never happen.  Think carefully for what you wish and then make it happen.  I am too angry tonight to even close out effectively, suffice to say that if 'peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars' you must live in the same vacuum that spawned the LibDems.  Good-night, God bless and may your choice of lucky Zodiacal trinket go with you.
